Holding Companies Controller

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems for Holding Companies, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all defined SOX controls are implemented and functioning correctly.
• Analyze financial data and present accurate, timely financial reports to senior leadership.
• Manage tax and financial regulatory compliance, including submissions to statutory authorities in partnership with local and Global Tax teams.
• Prepare and issue audited separate entity financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Manage external auditors and support the execution of audit plans.
• Oversee accounts payable, payments, collections, and intercompany rebilling processes.
• Design and build internal working papers and financial reports using modern tools like SAP Analytics Cloud and PowerBI.
• Support the Financial Planning & Analysis team with budget and forecast planning cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 7-15 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
• Extensive experience with IFRS standards.
• High level of knowledge regarding statutory reporting for public companies in Mexico.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and SAP ERP.
• Advanced fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Experience with SAP CFIN, SAP Analytics Cloud, or PowerBI.
• Experience with data modeling, visualization tools, or AI use cases like Microsoft Copilot.
