About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform bodywork, general painting, and decal installation on company vehicles
- Maintain the visual presentation and positive image of the company through high-quality vehicle conditioning
- Handle emergency repairs for vehicle dents or damages
- Manage and confine hazardous waste materials in designated temporary storage areas
- Maintain order, cleanliness, and presentation of work areas following 5S methodologies and continuous improvement practices
- Report any vehicle anomalies discovered during maintenance tasks
- Care for and clean assigned tools, workbenches, and workspaces
- Assist in departmental meetings and annual training programs
Requirements
- Minimum education: Secundaria (Middle School)
- Experience in Soldadura (Welding)
- Experience in Laminado (Sheet metal/Bodywork)
- Experience in Pintura de unidades (Vehicle painting)
- Ability to move assigned vehicles to the work area
Preferred Qualifications
- Preparatoria (High School) education
- Technical degree in Automotive Mechanics
