About the role
Responsibilities
- Formulate future strategies and perform component design for HMI display devices, including head-up displays and next-generation large center displays.
- Lead the direction of next-generation HMI by collaborating with internal departments, overseas locations, and external suppliers.
- Contribute to the evolution of Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) by integrating HMI components with software and system advancements.
- Drive vehicle value enhancement through consistent involvement from strategic planning to component design.
Requirements
- Proficiency in both Japanese and English (TOEIC 650+ required).
- Experience in component or system design (any commodity).
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical/electronic systems and the ability to envision necessary vehicle systems.
- Understanding of vehicle project development processes.
- Proven team leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HMI device element development, such as functional logic development or specification determination.
- Experience in hardware or mechanical component development.
- Project management experience within component development.
- Higher English proficiency (TOEIC 730+).
