HMI Display Component Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Formulate future strategies and perform component design for HMI display devices, including head-up displays and next-generation large center displays.
• Lead the direction of next-generation HMI by collaborating with internal departments, overseas locations, and external suppliers.
• Contribute to the evolution of Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) by integrating HMI components with software and system advancements.
• Drive vehicle value enhancement through consistent involvement from strategic planning to component design.

Requirements

• Proficiency in both Japanese and English (TOEIC 650+ required).
• Experience in component or system design (any commodity).
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical/electronic systems and the ability to envision necessary vehicle systems.
• Understanding of vehicle project development processes.
• Proven team leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in HMI device element development, such as functional logic development or specification determination.
• Experience in hardware or mechanical component development.
• Project management experience within component development.
• Higher English proficiency (TOEIC 730+).
