HMC Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect components to determine compliance with specifications
• Document inspection results and submit Non-Conformance reports
• Interpret detailed blueprints, work orders, and engineering specifications
• Calibrate and perform daily studies on gauges
• Notify supervisors of production problems and assist in identification
• Record inspection data using established programs and software
• Comply with all safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to follow inspection processes and plans
• Experience with quality control equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Proficiency with MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and blueprints
• Ability to see details at close range
• Ability to lift and move a minimum of 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced quality control equipment such as digital height gauges, surface roughness gauges, or coordinate measurement systems
