HITL Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Support deliverables to HITL stakeholders in the Space Systems organization
• Design, build, maintain, and operate Hardware In The Loop (HITL) systems
• Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real-world challenges
• Collaborate with mentors and professional teams to grow technical skills
• Participate in tech talks and professional networking events

Requirements

• Enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or math
• At least one semester of school remaining post-internship
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project work)
• Ability to work full-time on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks starting August or September 2026

Preferred Qualifications

• GPA of 3.5 or above
• 6+ months of applied engineering experience
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering
• Knowledge of Mechatronics
• Proficiency in Python
