Hitch Loader/Unloader

Responsibilities

• Load and unload metal hitches onto a conveyor line for painting
• Read and follow process and work instructions to ensure quality
• Perform tasks within the assigned work area while maintaining production rates
• Use the Help Chain to report equipment problems or quality issues
• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards in the assigned work area
• Follow all safety standards, company policies, and IATF16949/ISO 14001 requirements
• Report all safety issues immediately to management

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, or move items weighing between 1 and 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for 90% of the shift
• Upper body mobility for lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work in both hot and cold environments
• Ability to pass LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) training
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-paced environment
• Must wear required PPE at all times

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience
