History Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring live online lessons to Years 9-12 students
• Design personalised learning experiences and support student progress through differentiated instruction
• Build trust-based relationships with students in a virtual environment
• Provide meaningful formative assessment, quality feedback, and summative assessment aligned to curriculum goals
• Collaborate with the curriculum team to contribute to its growth and functioning
• Develop genuine partnerships with parents and caregivers to support student learning

Requirements

• NZ Teaching Registration
• Teaching qualification and subject expertise in History
• Strong knowledge of NCEA curriculum (Levels 2-3)
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with digital technology

Preferred Qualifications

• IGCSE teaching experience
• Online or blended learning experience
• Familiarity with educational technology and AI platforms
