Hiring Manager and HR Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the University’s hiring process, including position creation, recruitment, and candidate selection.
• Support hiring managers with job description development, FLSA compliance, and search process tracking.
• Act as the primary contact for vendor relationships including PeopleAdmin, HireRight, and travel vendors.
• Provide detailed reports and analytics regarding hiring, turnover, and retention metrics.
• Lead HRIS and website enhancements to streamline departmental processes and improve data management.
• Collaborate with IT and Communications to support technical enhancements and maintain confidential department records.
• Contribute to staff training, development initiatives, and university committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in human resources (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and employee databases or comparable software.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex professional responsibilities while maintaining complete confidentiality.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and leading diverse employment searches.
• Direct experience in human resources technology optimization and program development.
• Knowledge of SLATE, Ellucian’s Colleague system, or similar HRIS platforms.
