About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute monthly backcasting and lookback processes to analyze and identify opportunities for improving molecule management and profitability.
- Perform Overall Production Planning Model Validation (OMV) and Production Performance Lookback (LB) for integrated manufacturing sites.
- Drive tool improvements, including configuration/tag changes, planning case set up improvements, and model biasing.
- Collaborate with Site Senior Economists to execute follow-ups on identified opportunities.
- Partner with Modeling & Optimization engineers to investigate and resolve potential gaps in planning models.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, MSc, or MEng degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in refinery or petrochemical manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience in production planning and scheduling.
- Experience with planning tools, such as LP models.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing economics.
