HIL Applications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Integrate, test, deploy and maintain HIL solutions involving third-party hardware providers
• Work with customer HIL and XIL teams to understand use cases and requirements
• Design and build integrations between Applied simulators and HIL hardware/software
• Drive execution for HIL software projects to ensure on-schedule delivery
• Ensure customer success for HIL integrations at customer locations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working on HIL projects for OEMs or AV companies
• Experience with dSPACE, Concurrent, NI hardware, and/or CANoe
• Proficiency with ConfigurationDesk, ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, SIMulation Workbench, Veristand, LabVIEW, or CANoe
• 3+ years of experience using ASM, CarSim, IPG, Matlab, Simulink, Labview, or Python for plant modeling
• Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR, restbus simulation, and automotive interfaces (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, BroadR-Reach)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ADAS and AV development
• Expertise in verification and validation methodologies
• Working knowledge of robotics middlewares such as ROS or DDS
• Hands-on experience working with FPGAs in a HIL context
• DevOps experience
• Scripting within Windows and/or Linux
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance
