HIL Applications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Integrate, test, deploy, and maintain HIL solutions involving third-party hardware providers
• Collaborate with customer HIL and XIL teams to understand specific use cases and requirements
• Design and build integrations between Applied’s simulators and HIL hardware/software
• Drive execution for HIL software projects to ensure on-schedule delivery of complex automated driving use-cases
• Ensure customer success for HIL integrations at various customer locations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working on HIL projects for OEMs and/or AV companies
• Experience with dSPACE, Concurrent, NI, or CANoe hardware and software
• Proficiency in ConfigurationDesk, ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, Veristand, or LabVIEW
• 3+ years of experience using ASM, CarSim, IPG, Matlab, Simulink, or Python for plant modeling
• Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR and automotive interfaces including CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ADAS and AV development
• Expertise in verification and validation methodologies for simulation development
• Working knowledge of robotics middlewares such as ROS or DDS
• Hands-on experience working with FPGAs in a HIL context
• DevOps experience and scripting proficiency in Windows or Linux
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance
