About the role
Responsibilities
- Carry out stump grinding, root pruning, tree pit creation, and re-staking as part of the arboriculture team
- Set up safe working sites on the highway and liaise professionally with members of the public
- Follow safe systems of work, risk assessments, and safety procedures, including HSG47 guidelines
- Complete safety-critical emergency works when required
- Maintain accurate paperwork, including LOLER check sheets and HAVS forms
Requirements
- City & Guilds NPTC/Lantra chainsaw and stump grinding qualifications
- NRSWA or equivalent operative qualification
- CAT & Genny qualification and practical experience
- NPORS (or equivalent) lorry loader qualification with clamshell and timber grab attachments
- Full driving licence
