Highways Maintenance Operative

Responsibilities

• Carry out highway maintenance duties and respond promptly to incidents on the network
• Operate a variety of plant and equipment to complete maintenance tasks effectively
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain safe working environments and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
• Provide excellent customer care to clients and network users in a polite and courteous manner
• Complete daily vehicle defect reports and ensure equipment is secure and well-maintained

Requirements

• Full driving licence, with LGV Group C as a minimum
• 12AB Lantra Traffic Management training
• Lantra VRS qualification
• Valid CSCS card
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
