About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate light plant equipment including compressors, rollers, disc cutters, and vibrating plates
  • Assist skilled team members with kerbing, drainage, paving, bricklaying, and surfacing works
  • Excavate materials safely and efficiently using both hand and powered tools
  • Perform general site duties such as sweeping, cleaning, litter picking, and material handling
  • Maintain daily upkeep of equipment and promote a safe, inclusive working environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in highway maintenance or a similar field
  • Relevant certificates and qualifications for highway maintenance work
  • A valid driving license
  • A collaborative attitude and the ability to work closely within a team
