About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate light plant equipment including compressors, rollers, disc cutters, and vibrating plates
- Assist skilled team members with kerbing, drainage, paving, bricklaying, and surfacing works
- Excavate materials safely and efficiently using both hand and powered tools
- Perform general site duties such as sweeping, cleaning, litter picking, and material handling
- Maintain daily upkeep of equipment and promote a safe, inclusive working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience working in highway maintenance or a similar field
- Relevant certificates and qualifications for highway maintenance work
- A valid driving license
- A collaborative attitude and the ability to work closely within a team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work safely and reliably
