Highways Maintenance Operative

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade streetlighting assets as part of a dedicated highways crew
• Set up and maintain safe working sites on highways
• Complete safety-critical emergency works and required documentation
• Engage professionally with members of the public
• Assist with risk assessments and follow all safety procedures

Requirements

• Knowledge of streetlighting works (HEA, NHSS8)
• HGV Class 2 licence
• Strong commitment to safety and community care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
