Highway Sign Installer

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace roadway signs, posts, and delineators
• Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, ratchets, and chainsaws
• Safely operate flatbed trucks and transport materials to job sites
• Construct and repair barricades and traffic control devices
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Maintain inventory of signs, posts, and related materials
• Assist with emergency response efforts, including nights and weekends when required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain Traffic Control Certification
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, trucks, and equipment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
