Highway and Bridge Maintenance Laborer

Responsibilities

• Perform highway maintenance tasks including bridge cleaning, maintenance, tree cutting, and vegetation removal
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment
• Set up and dismantle temporary traffic control measures daily
• Ensure all work adheres to strict safety guidelines
• Operate company vehicles and use equipment and tools safely

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with at least 5 years of clean driving history
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screening
• Ability to lift 50-60 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary
• Comfortable working from various heights
• Ability to travel away from home for up to 1-2 weeks at a time

Preferred Qualifications

• ATSSA Traffic Control Certification
• Experience in tree cutting and brush removal
