Highway and Bridge CDL Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate Street Sweepers and/or Wash Trucks (Tankers)
• Perform traffic control measures and set up safety zones
• Load and unload tanker equipment, shovels, and brooms
• Perform tree trimming functions including brush removal
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections
• Use pressure washers, sweepers, and Ariel Lift Trucks safely
• Drive standard shift vehicles as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age of 21
• Valid CDL (A or B) or ability to obtain one within 90 days
• Ability to lift 50-60 pounds
• Ability to travel away from home for 1-2 weeks at a time
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Tanker endorsement
• Experience driving manual transmission trucks
• Experience in crew leadership or supervisory roles
