High Voltage Substation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful completion of substation projects to advance the energy transition for customers.
• Collaborate with customers and internal multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Integrate advanced technologies, including power electronics, renewable generation, and HVDC, into high voltage grids.
• Work closely with civil, mechanical, automation, and telecommunications teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Drive project execution from civil and structural work through to advanced electrical engineering.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc or MSc) or equivalent experience, ideally with a focus on power engineering.
• Proven experience with high voltage substation projects, specifically within the execution phase.
• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, technical calculation tools, and MS Office.
• Fluency in both spoken and written Portuguese and English.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and occasional travel for site visits or meetings.
