High Voltage Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HV substation design from concept studies, Grid Connection Agreements, and FEED to detailed design
• Define interfaces between incoming HV infrastructure and internal facility power systems
• Direct the commissioning process and oversee Senior Authorised Person (SAP) switching protocols
• Oversee HV civil engineering packages for grid-connection projects
• Act as the client’s on-site representative with TSOs/DSOs, EPCs, and contractors
• Review designs, method statements, and construction drawings
• Manage project risks, change control, and progress reporting

Requirements

• Strong background in HV substations, transmission/distribution projects, or grid-related civil works
• Experience acting in an Owner’s Engineer or Owner’s Representative capacity
• Construction sector experience, ideally within a Data Centre environment
• Experience with large scale complex projects and direct client collaboration
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
