High Voltage Electrician

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage electrical equipment including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, and circuit breakers
• Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, and other technical specifications
• Locate and diagnose trouble within electrical systems and equipment
• Perform standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring and electrical equipment
• Utilize various electrician hand tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Medium voltage experience
• Familiarity with electrical control systems and NEC
• Active TS/SCI with CIP clearance
• NICET Electrical Power Testing Level II Certification
• Electrician Journeyman or Master License
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA ten-hour and 30-hour Construction Safety Certification
• ASNT Level I Infrared Thermography Certification
• Experience with Square D Equipment (P24 Switch Gear, VR MV Breakers, and Master Pack Breakers)
• Experience with ASCO transfer switches
