High Voltage Electrical Technician

Responsibilities

• Lay out electrical conduit runs, pull wire, and make electrical connections using electrical schematics
• Perform high voltage terminations for up to 7200 volts
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and replace faulty components
• Detect and report defective materials, faulty operations, or unusual conditions to the supervisor
• Follow all prescribed safety regulations and company guidelines
• Perform rework and other assembly duties as required
• Assist with occasional duties such as training new hires and managing parts paperwork

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• Journeyman Electrician License
• Minimum of two years of experience as an electrician in a similar position
• Proven ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics and specifications
• Knowledge of high voltage terminations and electrical components
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment (e.g., multi-meters, high voltage meggar)
• Ability to meet moderate physical demands, including lifting up to 30 lbs and climbing ladders
