About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive, daily interaction with existing and potential clients, insurance companies, and medical providers
  • Order medical records and communicate with providers during treatment
  • Obtain documents necessary to support injury and/or liability positions
  • Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and medical balance deductions with providers
  • Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carriers
  • Maintain organized case files and present case synopses to attorneys

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of legal or insurance adjuster experience
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Proficient knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, and court rules
  • Ability to multitask and manage workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Prior experience as a case manager
