High School Teacher

Responsibilities

• Implement curricula and activities to meet high academic standards
• Analyze assessment data to inform and differentiate instructional practices
• Focus on student learning and critical thinking
• Create a positive, structured learning environment following school core values
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
• Participate in annual staff orientation and ongoing instructional training
• Support grade-level activities and school-wide functions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a college or university
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
• Relentless drive to improve student lives and characters

• Ability to implement feedback from school leaders
• For Massachusetts roles: must obtain appropriate MA educator's license or pass required MTELs within the first year

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years teaching experience in an urban public or charter school setting
• Valid State Certification
• Master's degree
• Prior experience working in schools or urban communities
