High School Spanish Teacher

Responsibilities

• Execute meaningful and engaging learning experiences, interventions, enrichment, and remediation
• Hold high standards for academic, behavioral, and social achievement
• Follow all WI DPI teacher standards
• Work with an Instructional Coach to improve teaching practice
• Create trusting relationships with students and their families
• Analyze data to set individual learning plans and team goals
• Incorporate technology into daily teaching
• Maintain grades and assignments in PowerSchool weekly
• Supervise students to ensure safety

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Licensure issued by Wisconsin’s Department of Public Instruction (or eligibility)
• Successful teaching experience, urban school experience preferred
• Knowledge of classroom management and college readiness
• Ability to serve as a student advisor
• Strong communication skills
