Responsibilities

• Execute meaningful and engaging learning experiences, interventions, and enrichment
• Hold students to high standards for achievement academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Work with an Instructional Coach to continually improve teaching practice
• Create trusting relationships with students and their families
• Analyze data to set individual learning plans and team goals
• Incorporate technology into daily teaching
• Maintain grades and assignments in PowerSchool weekly
• Supervise students to ensure safety at all times

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Licensure issued by Wisconsin’s Department of Public Instruction (or eligibility for such licensure)
• Successful teaching experience, urban school(s) preferred
• Knowledge of classroom management and college readiness
• Ability to serve as an advisor to a small group of students
• Ability to function in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
