About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead a rookie First Robotics Competition (FRC) team through "Project" classes and after-school practices
  • Manage build season activities including several hours of practice per week and weekend work
  • Register for and participate in off-season and regional/district competitions
  • Maintain family communication via the Remind app regarding schedules and activities
  • Handle end-of-year tasks including inventory, material ordering, and student leader preparation

Requirements

  • Experience with First Robotics Competition (FRC)
  • Ability to commit to after-school hours and weekend competitions
  • Strong communication skills for family engagement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience competing in FRC during high school
