Responsibilities

  • Teach Design Technology and STEAM-focused courses within the Technology and Physics Academy.
  • Implement Project-Based Learning (PBL) methodologies to engage high school students.
  • Lead interdisciplinary STEAM projects that integrate technology and design.
  • Facilitate hands-on learning within Makerspaces or fabrication laboratories.
  • Utilize CAD and modeling tools to guide student design processes.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in Materials or related fields (Design, Technology) or a degree in Industrial Design.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the High School (Educación Media Superior) level.
  • Experience with international programs such as IB or Design Technology.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Autodesk Fusion 360.
  • Proven expertise in Project-Based Learning (PBL) and working in Makerspaces or fabrication labs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Education, Innovation, Design, or related fields.
