High School PE Teacher

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and interactive environment for physical activity
• Develop physical fitness through team building, cardio, and structured sports
• Teach an engaging and culturally responsive PE curriculum
• Build positive relationships with students and families
• Participate in professional development, mentorship, and coaching
• Engage in weekly school-wide meetings to model core values

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Expertise in physical education, sports science, kinesiology, or collegiate athletics
• Demonstrated interest in impacting K-12 students in urban communities
• Ability to meet NJ state certification eligibility requirements
• Commitment to supporting social-emotional and academic development
