High School Math Teacher

Responsibilities

• Teach math content including Algebra, Geometry, or Calculus to prepare students for AP and collegiate coursework
• Support students in critical thinking and problem-solving
• Use data analysis to respond to trends in student work and assessments
• Implement differentiated instruction strategies for all learners
• Build positive relationships with students and partner with families
• Participate in professional development, mentorship, and school-wide meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Academic expertise in Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or related fields
• Demonstrated interest in impacting K-12 students in urban schools
• Ability to meet NY state certification eligibility requirements
• Commitment to supporting students' social-emotional and academic development

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in urban schools and communities
