High Explosive Instrumentation Support and Development SME

Responsibilities

• Independently develop and manage instrumentation plans and methodologies to support testing
• Conduct research, development, and integration efforts for state-of-the-art data acquisition systems and sensor technologies
• Develop and implement processes to investigate and validate new sensor and data acquisition technologies
• Develop test plans and methodologies for validation and verification testing of measurement diagnostic technologies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts to prepare written contributions

Requirements

• Experience with high explosives testing
• Experience developing and managing instrumentation plans for DTRA testing
• Experience with data acquisition systems and sensor technologies
• Ability to travel to Nevada National Security Site and White Sands Missile Range
• Must be a U.S. citizen with a current Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI
• Ability to work on-site at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience supporting DTRA RD-TS, CWMD, or DoD RDT&E test programs
• Experience with high explosive testing or measurement diagnostics in field-test or laboratory environments
• Experience supporting field-test operations at government test ranges or hazardous locations
• Experience preparing technical reports, test procedures, and validation plans
• Current TS/SCI adjudication for a DTRA program
