High Bay Freezer Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities within an automated high-bay freezer, including receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory control.
• Direct warehouse operations to monitor inventory, cost control, and quality performance while ensuring appropriate record keeping.
• Maintain strict sanitation and food safety standards in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage and train company and contract staff, providing orientation and ensuring safety procedures are followed.
• Monitor, analyze, and verify information in LTW, IWS, and DCS systems to maximize warehouse uptime and troubleshoot inefficiencies.
• Promote healthy and safe work practices and ensure union contracts and company policies are administered fairly.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as necessary to maintain warehouse operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of related experience in warehouse operations or supervision.
• Experience supervising warehouse operations specifically within an automated high-bay freezer environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and general computer systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain annual SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) certification for low-oxygen environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain annual Authorized Fall Protection, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Forklift Certification.
• Physical ability to work in freezing temperatures, climb up to 13 flights of stairs, and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour "Pitman Shift" schedules, including rotating days, nights, and weekends.
