HGV Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGV vehicles and trailers to DVSA and MOT standards
• Complete full diagnosis of faults and follow manufacturer guidelines for rectifications
• Validate parts orders and ensure they are authorized through Service Department processes
• Complete job cards and technical documentation accurately and legibly
• Maintain accurate personnel and service records using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
• Adhere to all Company Safe Systems of Work and Health, Safety & Environmental standards
• Provide personally owned tools required to complete tasks

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in HGV Vehicle Maintenance
• Experience working in an HGV Workshop or similar environment
• Intermediate IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
• Ability to work independently and manage an agile workload
• Full UK Drivers’ licence (advantageous)
• Ability to provide personally owned tools
