HGV Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles and waste management handling equipment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements
• Carry out scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections
• Support Biffa’s operator’s licence commitments across a diverse fleet ranging from light commercial vans to 44t articulated assets

Requirements

• Level 3 HGV / PSV apprentice qualification, City and Guilds, or NVQ Qualification
• Technician level experience
• Minimum of a car/van driving licence
• HGV licence (desirable)
• IRTEC Qualification (desirable)
