HGV Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV vehicles and assist with loading/unloading materials, tools, and equipment
• Support the Surface Dressing team in clearing storage areas with a grab (HGV)
• Execute standard daily vehicle checks and maintain equipment cleanliness
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and traffic management procedures
• Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Foremen to coordinate work
• Assist with the safe operation of excavators and other heavy equipment
• Record and report any on-site incidents or accidents
• Assist with the set-up and breakdown of work sites

Requirements

• Full Class C or Class CE driving licence
• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card
• Current CSCS card
• Experience in construction or labouring roles
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work shifts and overtime as required
