HGV Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport and delivery of fresh meat while respecting the cold chain and hygiene rules
• Loading and unloading packages following handling and safety instructions
• Checking packages before departure (quantity, quality, temperature) and completing transport documents
• Strict adherence to predefined routes and delivery schedules
• Daily maintenance of the refrigerated vehicle (basic checks, cleanliness, reporting anomalies)
• Compliance with HACCP procedures and client instructions related to food products
• Professional relationship with clients during deliveries and reporting non-conformities

Requirements

• Valid Permit C (Heavy Goods Vehicle)
• Up-to-date FIMO / FCOS certification
• Valid driver card and respect for driving and rest times
• Experience with HGV, ideally in refrigerated transport or food transport
• Knowledge of HACCP rules and hygiene rigor
• Good physical condition, punctuality, and sense of service
• Up-to-date medical examination
