About the role
Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver goods to clients within specified timeframes while respecting safety procedures
- Control vehicle condition and perform safety checks (levels, lighting, tires, secure loading) before, during, and after tours
- Load and unload the vehicle using proper securing methods (EUR pallets, straps, technifils, etc.)
- Verify transport documents, complete delivery notes, and collect client signatures
- Maintain communication with the agency regarding incidents, delays, or merchandise anomalies
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and proper maintenance
Requirements
- Valid Category C driver's license
- Up-to-date driver card
- Valid FCO / IFCO certification
- Proven experience in heavy goods vehicle (HGV) driving and short-zone delivery (B2B/B2C)
- Physical fitness for loading and unloading tasks
- Knowledge of road safety rules and vehicle inspections
- Rigor, punctuality, and customer service orientation
