LGV Class 1 Licence, CPC, Tacho Card, 6 months experience, Knowledge of Road Transport Directive
About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations according to delivery schedules
- Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
- Observe and adhere to company rules, health, safety, and hygiene procedures
- Manage working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph regulations
- Complete daily vehicle checks, including unit, trailer, and temperature checks
- Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned
- Achieve fuel efficiency targets
Requirements
- Possession of LGV Class 1 Licence, CPC, and Tacho Card
- Minimum of six months experience
- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Ability to effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines
