Hexagon and RISC-V Software Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product strategies for Embedded Software Solutions
• Drive improvements in developer experience across toolchains, SDKs, and workflows
• Lead Qualcomm’s engagement in open-source ecosystems like Zephyr
• Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive landscape
• Create and maintain product roadmaps
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and customer support teams
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and ensure product satisfaction
• Oversee creation of technical documentation and marketing materials

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience
• Expertise in embedded processor architectures and software
• Experience with C/C++ compilers, debuggers, profilers, and emulators
• Strong understanding of Microcontrollers and DSP architectures
• Experience with ARM or RISC-V architectures
• Familiarity with RTOS environments (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or QuRT)
• Experience with open-source development

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Real Time Operating Systems or Middleware
• Experience engaging with or contributing to open-source projects
• Familiarity with Embedded Systems and Development Workflows
