Herbicide Applicator Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform and document all required DOT vehicle inspections
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in clean and operational condition
• Operate and calibrate spray equipment according to company standards
• Identify common weed, grass, and brush species
• Apply herbicides safely following all label requirements and safety protocols
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and environmental regulations

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license with 5 years of clean driving record
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years of verifiable outdoor work experience
• Previous herbicide application experience
• Valid Pesticide Applicator License in Category 6 (Right-of-Way)
• Ability to work 12–14 hour days and 50-60 hours per week during season
• Ability to operate power tools including chainsaws and weed eaters
• Ability to pass drug screen, background check, and MVR check
