Helper/Trainee

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a Helper/Trainee to join our team of over 1,000 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of fire protection equipment and the service, repair and maintenance of fire protection systems under direct supervision of a licensed Technician
• Assist with diagnosing and evaluating systems that require servicing as well as troubleshoot issues that arise during inspections under direct supervision of a licensed Technician
• Interact with customers, contractors, vendors and other employees in a respectful, professional manner
• Some overtime, nights, weekends and on-call hours may be required

Requirements

• Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in the fire protection industry
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment
• Basic understanding of electrical systems or construction is a plus
• Clean background and ability to pass a drug screening
• Valid driver's license required
