Responsibilities

• Assist in the fabrication and quality control of pipe by lifting, positioning, and removing products from machines.
• Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards and notify operators of any malfunctions.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances manually or using hoists.
• Mark or tag identification on parts and separate products according to weight, grade, or size.
• Clean and lubricate equipment and maintain work areas.
• Pack, store, and bundle materials and products for shipment.
• Support quality control by expediting fabricated pipe spools and prepping welds for exams.
• Perform manual labor including attaching slings, ropes, or cables to pipes and bundles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (1 year of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education).
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor and lift raw materials and finished products.
• Ability to operate machinery, hoists, and overhead cranes.
• Ability to work night shifts.
• Strong sense of reliability, accountability, and initiative.
