Helper

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople by transporting materials and tools to work areas
• Prepare work sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures
• Operate and maintain basic hand and power tools under supervision
• Help with the assembly, disassembly, and storage of scaffolding, forms, and equipment
• Perform cleaning and site cleanup at the end of each shift to ensure a safe and organized worksite
• Support material handling, including loading, unloading, and organizing supplies on-site
• Monitor and report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or unsafe conditions to supervisors
• Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA standards at all times
• Assist with inventory management and tracking of tools and supplies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
• Basic understanding of construction site safety practices
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and hammers
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
