Help Desk Technician

Responsibilities

• Configure and install client equipment including desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and mobile devices
• Assist with the installation and troubleshooting of servers, switches, routers, wireless access points, and security cameras
• Support third-party vendors with plant-specific computer systems
• Replace or install network cabling between offices and network cabinets
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and various software applications
• Perform routine software upgrades and security patching
• Document hardware configurations in the IT inventory system and track support requests via the Help Desk ticket system
• Travel to various facilities in Fort Smith, AR, Muldrow, OK, and Heavener, OK to provide onsite support
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training/experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong understanding of PC, printer, and networking hardware
• Valid driver's license and ability to qualify for the company driver program
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work the 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
