About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide premium, white-glove deskside support to client end users
- Manage inbound tickets from initiation to resolution using the ticketing system
- Provide in-person support for computers, printers, fax machines, and other peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with operating systems, applications, and network connectivity
- Manage and implement Active Directory changes
- Support A/V systems and Webex meeting technologies
- Provide end-user training and support for Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and mobile applications
Requirements
- Must be commutable to Pomfret, CT and Uncasville, CT
- In-depth knowledge of desktop hardware components and peripherals
- Experience with Windows and macOS administration
- Experience with Active Directory and network protocols
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation for on-site duties
- Ability to work onsite during client hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) and provide after-hours assistance as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in in-person end-user support
- Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft certifications
