About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide premium, white-glove deskside support to client end users
  • Manage inbound tickets from initiation to resolution using the ticketing system
  • Provide in-person support for computers, printers, fax machines, and other peripherals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with operating systems, applications, and network connectivity
  • Manage and implement Active Directory changes
  • Support A/V systems and Webex meeting technologies
  • Provide end-user training and support for Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and mobile applications

Requirements

  • Must be commutable to Pomfret, CT and Uncasville, CT
  • In-depth knowledge of desktop hardware components and peripherals
  • Experience with Windows and macOS administration
  • Experience with Active Directory and network protocols
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable transportation for on-site duties
  • Ability to work onsite during client hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) and provide after-hours assistance as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in in-person end-user support
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft certifications
