Responsibilities

  • Perform basic installations of cables, computer stations, and communication equipment
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking, A/V, and security hardware including access points, switches, and firewalls
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of data processing equipment and supplies
  • Diagnose and resolve end-user computer problems via phone, email, and in-person support
  • Assist staff with Microsoft Office Suite and other business-critical platforms
  • Maintain the help desk ticketing system and monitor for trends or recurring issues
  • Apply cybersecurity practices and help update security policies and procedures
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards relevant to a Class III medical device environment

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a help desk or IT support role
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripherals in Windows and/or macOS environments
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and patch management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent competency
