Helicopter Pilot (Instructor)

Responsibilities

• Provide flight instruction for the UH-72 aircraft to prepare student pilots for military aviation roles
• Teach, coach, and mentor student pilots through intensive training programs
• Maintain a paramount focus on safety within the Rotary Wing Flight Training culture
• Conduct flight instruction across diverse airspace environments

Requirements

• FAA commercial pilot certificate and FAA flight instructor certificate (Rotorcraft category, Helicopter class, and Instrument helicopter ratings)
• 1,500 total flight hours
• 500 hours of instructor time
• 100 hours of hooded instrument, flight simulator instrument, or weather pilot time
• 75 hours of night flying
• Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
• NVG qualified with 200 hours of NVG time
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
