Canadian Helicopters is a helicopter transport services, maintenance support, and pilot training company. In business since 1947, Canadian Helicopters is the largest helicopter operator in Canada with over 20 locations across the country and a fleet of nearly 100 single and multi-engine aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Act as a pilot according to operating standards
- Perform all other responsibilities related to the position
- Act as First Officer according to company operating standards (for B212 roles)
- Act as VFR pilot when required (for First Officer roles)
Requirements
- Valid Transport Canada commercial helicopter license (CPL-H)
- Authorization to work in Canada (no sponsorship available)
- 1000 to 2000 hours of helicopter experience (depending on location)
- Proficiency in English; French is an asset
- Willingness to live in or relocate to the assigned region
- For First Officer B212: Successful ATPL(H) exams and Group IV IFR qualification
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-engine time
- Endorsements on AS350, AS355, B206, B212, B412, BH06, or EC35
- Experience with Bell aircraft (204, 205, 212, or 412)
- Sling operations, powerline patrol, or vertical reference experience
- HAC-approved mountain course and mountain flying experience
- NVG training/experience or Arctic experience
