Hedge Fund Accounting Officer

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality client service and ensure appropriate KPIs are met and understood
• Perform final review on daily, weekly, and monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues, providing technical expertise
• Manage and track outstanding queries to ensure timely and positive resolution
• Ensure all activities adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and recommending process enhancements
• Develop, engage, and retain an industry-leading workforce through training and mentorship
• Coordinate onboarding, conversion, and client change activities
• Prepare and assist with internal reporting activities related to risk and compliance

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a hedge fund administration environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 5 years of experience working with a hedge fund administrator
• Strong knowledge of Fund of Hedge Fund and Single Manager funds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA, CGA, CMA, or CAIA designation
• Public Accounting experience
